On-site restoration
We restore historic buildings with respect for their period, history and architectural character. Our work is carried out sustainably, with careful consideration for the building’s original construction methods and the principles of responsible planning and documentation.

Workshop & joinery
At our workshop, we restore historic windows and doors and craft solid timber kitchens, fitted interiors and other bespoke joinery. Every solution is tailored to the building – never the other way around.

Planning & project management
We support our clients throughout the entire process, from the initial survey to project completion: defining the scope, methods, material choices, schedule, coordination and site management. This makes even complex restoration projects easier to understand, budget and successfully deliver.

Trähus Butiken
Trähus Butiken offers carefully selected materials for building conservation and expert advice. At our workshop showroom, you can explore our display kitchen and bespoke joinery by appointment. Our specialists will help you design and create a unique, made-to-measure solution tailored to your needs.
How we work
We start with the building and build the project from there
- Survey. We assess the building’s current condition, history, potential risks and restoration needs, while taking the client’s objectives into consideration.
- Plan. We present our recommendations for the necessary measures and sequence of work, together with a cost estimate.
- Delivery. Our project management team ensures that our craftsmen, partners and designers work in close coordination, with clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Follow-up. The project is documented transparently, and we provide up-to-date information on its progress throughout the entire process. Upon completion, the property owner receives clear guidelines for the building’s ongoing care and maintenance.
