Eira Hospital is a private hospital in the Ullanlinna district of southern Helsinki. The architecturally significant Art Nouveau building stands at the corner of Tehtaankatu and Laivurinkatu. It was designed by Lars Sonck and completed in 1905.
Trähus has restored different parts of Eira Hospital since 2021. The project began with repairs to the tiled roof and roof structures. Since then, we have renovated the original windows, painted parts of the facade and reconstructed the wall and gate, among other work.
The goal of our long-term collaboration with Eira Hospital is to create sustainable solutions that preserve the historic building for future generations.
