Villa Heikel, Kauniainen

Villa Heikel was designed and built by Elia Heikel in 1903 and is the first villa in Kauniainen. Trähus restored the facade, roof, exterior doors and windows of this protected building between 2017 and 2022.

Between 2024 and 2026, the extensive restoration continued indoors. The work included repairs to ground floor, intermediate and upper floor structures, renewal of the bathroom and kitchen, and all interior and finishing work. The sheet metal roof was also renewed in connection with repairs to the roof structures.
