Konsta Sohlberg

Konsta is originally from Helsinki and is a cinematographer (M.A.). He has worked on several Finnish feature films and television series. In 2013, he also qualified as a cabinetmaker. Konsta joined Trähus through a labour market training programme, as there was not enough work available in his own field and he had long been interested in traditional building methods.

At Trähus, Konsta works as a carpenter. What he enjoys most about his work is the hands-on craftsmanship, the variety of tasks, problem-solving, and the high quality standards. He also appreciates being able to see the results of his work take shape in a tangible way. His current favourite project is Villa Klaineh, as it provides an excellent opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of traditional building techniques.
